Cornell Student Trades Cap and Gown for Orange Jumpsuit After Antisemitic Threats
“Allahu akbar! from the river to the sea, palestine will be free![sic]"
A former Cornell University student has been sentenced to prison this month after the FBI caught him making death threats to his fellow Jewish students and writing “allahu akbar!” in forums.
Patrick Dai was a junior at the Ivy League school during the eruption of the Israel-Hamas war and was charged with “posting threats to kill others using interstate communication” last Fall.
Using hashtags like #FreeGaza and #IsraeliTerrorists, prosecutors said Dai posted that he would “shoot up” the university’s kosher dining hall, 104 West. Dai also mused that he might “bring an assault rifle to campus” to shoot Jewish students.
“Allahu akbar! from the river to the sea, palestine will be free! glory to hamas! liberation by any means necessary! [sic]” he wrote in one post.
“If i see another synagogue another rally for the zionist globalist genocidal apartheid dictatorial entity known as “israel”, i will bring an assault rifle to campus and shoot all you pig jews [sic]” he said in another.
I’m not sure how they singled him out of the THOUSANDS of other antisemitic college students, but I’m impressed. It seems like there was excellent communication between the school, the local police force, the state and the FBI.
Maybe in the penitentiary Mr. Dai will find a new hobby, like knitting, or perhaps write a tell-all-book on how to not be a complete and total idiot on the internet. Who knows? Stay tuned – prison might just be the start of his education!

University was tough enough without people threatening me because of my being Jewish.
"Zionist globalist genocidal apartheid dictatorial entity". That's as good as "The motorcycle black Madonna two wheeled gypsy queen." I imagine the creep is an English major.
