Meet The University Nurse Who Refuses to Treat Jews, Calls Them “Vermin,” “Dogs”
“I would refuse to treat you. I don’t take care of animals. Dogs. Rats. Vermin of any kind" wrote Camesha Lynn Hart, RN at OHSU.
A group of American physicians has created a call-to-action against an Oregon registered nurse who proudly posted that the now-deceased Shiri Bibas “was fair game” for Hamas to kill, and that Jews are “rats” and “vermin of any kind.”
The nurse — Camesha Lynn Hart, of Beaverton Oregon — works at the Oregon Health and Science University Hospital (OHSU) and has popped off a number of hateful comments towards Jewish and Israeli people this past week.
“May they all meet their ancestors soon!” she commented on a post about Jewish people in the war under her handle, “hartgirl.pdx.”
In another comment, in response a Jewish woman, she wrote “I would refuse to treat you. I don’t take care of animals. Dogs. Rats. Vermin of any kind.”
To a Jewish man who supports Israel, she said: “I couldn’t care less. I would refuse to treat you anyway. I would refuse. Because I’m not a vet and I don’t treat dogs.”
She also posted about the death of Shiri Bibas, with Oregon nurse Camesha Hart claiming: “She was fair game [to be killed] as military personnel” and that the surviving Bibas family should “be thankful [to Hamas] that they weren’t returned in blue body bags and zip ties.”
DOCTORS FIGHTING ANTISEMITISM
The group Physicians Against Antisemitism (PAA) has publicized Hart’s social media posts on Instagram and their community of 25K followers reacted with shock and dismay. Later, the nonprofit Stop Antisemitism also posted a call-to-action to their 330K followers, asking people to express their concern about Hart to the university hospital’s human resources department.
Since the PAA posted Monday, Hart has taken to GoFundMe to raise money to fight her online bullies after receiving what’s likely to be hundreds if not thousands of messages from people shocked to hear what she said about the Bibas family, and what she wrote to Israelis and Jews.
In proper English, she pleaded to her GoFundMe supporters:
“i am being bullied online by antisemitic groups bc I do not support the GENOCIDE!
Now my nursing job is being threatened by them.
It is also an online smear campaign called DOXXING.
So I am hiring a Torts ATTORNEY to defend myself!
I DO NOT support antisemitism!
I DO support humanity and not killing others, especially families!
Would you PLEASE support me in this activism?
Please help me fight the online bullies!
Thank you so much!”
While I expected to find evidence of doxxing in the photos she posted to go along with the fundraiser, she mostly reposted evidence of her making the aforementioned statements.
REACTION FROM BROADER COMMUNITY
One netizen noted on X that Hart’s conduct may violate the American Nursing Association’s Code of Ethics.
“Nurse’s licensure (sic) prohibits such refusal of treatment and debasement of people as a registered nurse. This constitutes a threat in relation to her nursing practice,” said one netizen about Hart on X.
Meanwhile, OSHU, her employer, has seen their social media pages flooded with comments about Hart’s alleged antisemitism.
“Stay away from this place...They have their own version of Dr. Mengele working here…”
“OHSU must fire her & she must get her nursing license permanently revoked & ensure she never works in the healthcare industry again. Search for Camesha Hart & learn for yourself.”
“Why are you allowing antisemites to work on your staff? Is it your policy to hire nurses who hate Jews and call them pigs and dogs?”
“I will NEVER take a single family member to this hospital. You have a DISGUSTING antisemitic nurse on your payroll. CAMESHA HART not only needs to be fired but arrested.”
Hart’s GoFundMe “Support Legal Defense Against Online Bullies” has raised $220 thus far. Hart’s fundraising goal is $22,000, which she says she will use to hire “a Tort ATTORNEY to defend myself.”

“What a gross human. Let’s pray she has a change of heart from the Holy Spirit” said another.
While this article was being published, OHSU replied to my inquiry about Camesha Hart. While they likely cannot say she specifically is being investigated, they sent this statement.
“Hate speech, harassment, racism and discrimination are wholly unacceptable and have no place at Oregon Health & Science University. We are actively investigating reports of an employee making antisemitic comments on social media through our internal investigatory processes.”

You know if she said this about blacks or trans she'd be gone by now. But Jews? meh
Write the director of the hospital. I did. As a retired RN, BSN I was deeply offended by her abhorrent statements and I agree her license should be revoked.
