All these scholars that think they understand what’s going on in a region half a world away, a region they don’t speak the language or understand its mentality. Useful idiots.

This support will comeback and bite them in their ass.

She's a psychopath. Peace like there is where in the Middle East? Iraq, Iran, Syria, Yemen, etc?

Is this utter psychopath calling for the dismantling of any Arab entities? Or just the one minority State in the Middle East? And after Israel is dismantled and handed over to the likes of Hamas and Hezbollah this "professor" professes that there will be peace. World peace even I presume.

I’ve no idea who she’s trying to impress, but : When the persecuted become the persecutors is the time we know that a  moral conundrum & ethical dissonance has developed amongst Jews.

I find it chilling that some are unable to see how obscene & disrespectful their reaction & behaviour is to what happened on 7/10.

It beggars belief to see just how disassociated they are with the reality of what it means to be a Jew.

I think first & foremost Jews have to grasp the historical reality that it doesn’t matter what you think or believe who or what you are - antisemites will decide for you.  They don’t care what you think or what you want to believe.  For them a dead Jew is all that matters.

My friends wife’s father made it clear that he looked forward to the day he could shove her Jewish non practicing husband & her children into the ovens.

The sooner you understand that the better.

The history of the Sunshine Family lays it all out.

I tried for years to say that the Palestinians were being used by the Arabs to ensure that peace & unity between the Gazans, West Bankians & the Israelis must not happen for two reasons

1). Fear of their own citizens seeing them taste the « freedom » of living in a democracy threatened their authoritarianism & increase their citizens desires for more freedom

2) If the Gazans, West Bankians & Israelis joined forces they’d become « the economic powerhouse » of the ME & threaten their economic interests

I genuinely felt sorry for them & I can’t begin to imagine how it feels living under the abuse, the deprivation of humanity & depth of brainwashing required for them to be subjected to so that they’d live breath 24/7 with nothing but hate & driven not just to kill but to celebrate the joy of doing so.

The insanity of hate - imagine what kind of mind it takes to live with such a limited goal where all you can think about is indoctrinating your children to be Shahids, so that you can celebrate their death by encouraging them to commit atrocities & acts of savagery. Then try to imagine being that child who’s being told I want you to die but first kill as many Jews as you can so that we can live off the stipend we’ll receive.

People tried to explain it & yet it remained impossible to imagine the consequences of such a deprived upbringing until 7/10 & the aftermath; because the antisemitism was just waiting to be allowed to be justified beneath such a thin veneer of humanity. And to see the depth of lies & centuries of antisemitic tropes being adapted & freely resurrected is breathtaking, along with the conspiracies & blood libels - despite Jews being forbidden to eat blood let alone drink it. The historical distortion is gut wrenching especially when Jews are the perpetrators & actually believe it - it’s insane

“…disassociated they are with the reality of what it means to be a Jew.”

I submit they’ve become disassociated from being human to become apologists for Oct 7.

I’m not sure what the “worst human evil act perpetrated by one people on another” has been, but the Holocaust has to be right up there. But as the Allied armies liberated the camps, the appropriate response would not have been to rape & murder random German civilians and burn random German babies alive. And to support those who would do so would reveal the supporter to be an animal.

Lest you confuse me with a peacenik, if I could afford the $16,000 unit cost of a 2,000 lb for Israel, I would buy and ship you one as a gift.

After reading the headline, I was totally ready to cancel my subscription to the American Automobile Association. Whew!

She is worse than any non-Jewish critic of Israel or the Jews because she is tokenized by them to further their cause of delegitimizing Israel and Jews worldwide. If she was let go from her previous role, she can and should be let go from this one.

If a faculty member’s conduct puts the academic institution at risk for Title VI liability, surely that concern overcomes any tenure or contractual protections.

And, as the IHRA is the definition that will be relied on in any federal investigation, this fact alone should suffice for its immediate adoption. The definition has been around for over a decade and while it’s a common talking point to claim the definition chills “pro”-Palestinian speech, I, for one, am unaware of any instance where that has been shown to have happened.

You don't think that pro-Palestine speech is being "chilled" on campus? Really? There's entire activist groups dedicating that shut down meetings of students Palestine supporters on college campuses and to stopping anti-Israel events and speakers from taking place.

I’m sorry, are you for or against these activist groups? Are they merely trying to shut down “pro-Palestine” meetings and “anti-Israel events,” or are they antisemitic?

I’ve have personally neither seen nor heard of any incident in which “pro-“Palestinian voices have been chilled under any circumstance relating to the First Amendment.

Ignoring legitimate time, place and manner restrictions on freedom of speech (which only applies to state or private institutions where it’s an option) and risking punishment is not considered “chilling” speech under the law.

If these protesters want to engage in civil disobedience, then that means they are willing to suffer a penalty for their principles. If they want to break rules or laws without being held accountable, then they are hypocrites.

By the way, Barnard has expelled two seniors who were among the small group that invaded and disrupted a class a few weeks ago. So rules are finally being enforced.
